Meternity ward nursing staff were rude, with no bed side manner at all(not all of them). We waited from 8 am till 4 pm for medicine for my baby girl. When we finally received the medicine a nurse just threw it on the table without saying anything. My husband complained and another nurse came to explain how and when the medicine should be given. Within 5 minutes after my husband left for the day the head nurse came to my room to tell me she doesn't know how to say it but the attitudes of the nursing staff is just how they are. Why bother to come and tell me that? There was a young girl in my room that I helped during the night because the nurses just didn't bother to come and help if she pressed the call button. Not sure what other choices there are for hospitals in the area but mediclinic is certainly not up to standards compared to other hospitals I've been to. Had a dead bug in my room for three days, my mask went missing and after asking 2nurses and the head nurse with no answers or assistance, I just got a new one by myself. I hope and pray we don't have to go to hospital again it was not a pleasant stay. Not to even mention complications that should not have happened during the delivery of my baby.

Worst experience ever received from a Emergency Centre. Family member been in an accident, arrived at -21:30 had to wait till about 01:00am before she could atleast get a bed, typing this now at 04:05, still no feedback or any real help offered, been in pain since accident (leg & hand swollen and discoloured) for more than 6 hours and nothing. Just empty promises and excuses. While waiting I met a few people also complaining about needing to wait 3 hours (even a lady that's 83 years old). Really Really disappointed with regards to how things are being handled at a "once called decent Hospital".

Rude, Slow Emergency Centre. Not recommend for yourself or loved ones.

Amazing Radiology Department. Did a MRI scan and the staff and nurses were just awesome!

Badly run ER, being outsourced to ER Consulting. The final responsibility for this decision lies with Medi-Clinic management. They are obviously not capable of running it, why keep on awarding it to them? Long waiting times, no communication, account problems. Get rid of this service provider Medi Clinic! They are bringing your name down!!

Dr Bardenhorst, only doctor on duty. Arrogant, my mother was losing consciousness, asked him to please help. He told us he will not jump if someone ask him to jump. We have to wait in line. No sympathy. A bit of friendliness helps a person to calm down, even if the situation is critical. Teach your doctors to have more sympathy and be more kind.

Nelspruit Mediclinic is like a public toilet. Severely average for emergencies and I wouldn’t keep my child there for very long (on purpose at least). Also the nurses in the paediatric ward could probably use some nursing tips from their juvenile patients. Like shut up more often and let people rest.

My 5 year old grandson was rushed to the emergency with his pinky cut right through, literally hanging on a piece of skin, we weren't even sure if the finger could be saved, or be amputated. It took them 3 hours to get into a room and the orthopaedic surgeon on duty wouldn't even come out, according to him, nobody phoned him. Worst of all is that our house docter did phone in advance and they were expecting us. Update..... Its now 8:24 am, next day, and we have just been informed that the dayshift personnel did NOT phone the docter. Our baby is on his way into theatre. I am speechless to the pathetic, uncaring service of the ER department.
