Aftersale service leaves much to be desired! We purchased a demo Lexus UX in the beginning of October 2020. The wipers needed replacing and the Headlights needed adjustment. We booked the car in and they did not have stock of the wipers. It is now almost end of November and I had to drive to the dealer in the middle of a MASSIVE storm to go and physically check if the wipers were there as they never called to confirm if they had received them (after numerous follow ups) When I got there, the service advisor was busy with a customer. I took a phone call and stepped out to take the call. When I got back in, the service consultant had left his desk. I waited almost 20 minutes before I finally got up and walked to the Toyota service advisors (who had been staring at me for the entire time I sat there) and asked them to call the service advisor from Lexus to assist. Honestly, the service advisor was truly busy... But why did not one of the plethora of Toyota advisors even ask me if I had been assisted?? One lady even walked right past me to go and change the water in the coffee machine without even acknowledging me!! They also didn't adjust the Headlights properly the first time round so I asked them to do it again. Drove home in the in the dark only to realize they didn't adjust the lights properly again! I will not be returning to Lexus Lynnwood. It's a hard pass for me!!!

On the 3rd of September 2019 my car was taken to Lexus Lynnwood for a right drive shaft repair of the back wheel. Pieter Wouter Kriel was my adviser on the day. The repairs was approximately R8300,00. After the repairs was completed it was requested by Pieter Wouter Kriel if my car could be washed it was agreed that the car was be washed. After this process was completed my car key was handed to me as the repairs and wash has been completed. as my wife and I got into the car to return home we noticed that the front window was cracked from the bottom of the passenger side up towards the middle spreading towards the driver side. As we noticed the crack Pieter Wouter Kriel was call to inform him of what had happened as the window had no cracks before any of the work/wash was done on the car. I informed Pieter Wouter Kriel that due to this happening on their premises they have to repair the broken window. I have contacted Pieter Wouter Kriel after returning from my leave. I have contacted Kano at the headoffice as no feedback was received from Pieter Wouter Kriel. It has been more than 30 days and I have received no further feedback from Lexus on when the repairs of my window will be done. I now have to carry the cost with my insurance to replace the window. This in my opinion is very bad service on their part, lacking in communication. Due to the damage happening on my car in their care and on their premises they should be held responsible.
