The staff members from the security,reception,doctors,cleaners,nurses they all are so helpful and very friendly.Thank you for the kind and caring all you guys showed us during this very difficult times.Please people lets be patient and considerate front line workers are facing tremendous pressure. This place has forever marked the history of South Africa for the simple reason that it is the hospital that received the late President Nelson Mandela for pulmonary complications. All the world press had arrived on the spot. In a short time, this hospital had become a place of worship for all the South African population. Even President Obama of the United States made the trip to visit Mandela. Seen from the outside, it is an ordinary hospital but historically speaking, it will remain etched in our memories.
Poor telephone etiquette negatively impacts on the hospital's brand. Telephone etiquette means being respectful to the person you are talking with, showing consideration for the other person's limitations, allowing that person time to speak, communicating clearly and much, much more. Really hope patients are treated differently.
Disappointing!!! Had to fetch a patient on discharge. Waited 2 hours in parking lot. Due to Covid-19. I could not enquire inside. Security enquired. Nothing. Phoned the ward only to be informed... patient is on his way.... waiting for medicine from pharmacy. 2 HOURS?!
It was a great medical care received evening when Hope's of a curative and therapeutic intervention seem to have dashed, service recieved was great Dr Mayayise and Team were great.
i hate this place so much
We have had endless trouble with medical claims for my 75 year old mother with cancer. It was exceptionally difficult to resolve issues due to mis-communication between the hospital, the service provider (Discovery) and the patient. Not a good experience at all.
