This is a great dog park where dogs are allowed to socialise off-leash. There is a community of regulars which makes it feel like a safe environment. If you are worried about other dogs approaching your dog, I would suggest going to an on-leash park, as the majority of dogs in the park play off leash.

An honor system for filling up drinking water for the pups: seems everyone picks up after their dogs too!!
Not good, no shade, not a park in my option. River walk woodmead much better.
Very neat, lots of obstacles for dogs. People who visit the dog park are friendly and they clean up after their dog messes. Decent kept park and well maintained.
Small, safe dog park but lots for the dogs to do. I don't know if there is a tap around but there are some bowls for water so I bring my own water.
Not busy at all. Great if your dog needs a secure place to run around. A small shaded area with benches for humans to sit and relax.
Great place because of great people! Many community members work extremely hard to provide Barbeque Downs with a safe park, with well maintained and updated infrastructure. Parks like these do not simply fall out of the sky, nor does our uncaring government have anything to do with it. Thank those responsible for improving your community!
Awesome for dogs, safe space to socialise them and the spring gate gives you peace of mind that they don't run out onto the road
