Didnt get to see the doctor. No covid screening done(temperature checks,symtoms) the waiting area was full with no social distancing taking place. Left due to increased risk of contracting covid.

Very professional and helpful. No sugar coatings done on his diagnosis processes and results. I recently had chest pain problems and visited 3 doctors in JHB CBD none could see what the problem was because the xray came out saying I'm fine. But Dr Nkuna was able to see where the problem was and understood how I explained the way I felt on my chest. Got meds on Friday 19/06/20 and yesterday was the 25/06/20 and the pain is 100% gone.

Dr Nkuna was apathetic with a cold bed side manner. I specifically phoned ahead to ensure that I would get the flu vaccine. When I got to the practice I was told that they did not have it because Dr Nkuna took over the practice as a walk-in surgery and there is there is 'Nothing he can do about that.' No assurance of alternative arrangement. Nothing. Also I asked him to make an application to Discovery on my behalf for a specialist authorization (You cannot visit a specialist without this) I stressed the urgency of the matter as I had moved from WC and needed to change my specialist. This is a process that takes 2-3 days at Discovery Health, I have been waiting 13 days for assistance. He sent the incorrect details of the Dr. and DH informed him accordingly, 2 weeks later and I STILL haven't been helped. When I called DH they advised me the Dr STILL has not sent the correct documents. This doctor is one of the worst I have encountered.

Receptionist has a bad attitude, Mapule who ever she is. Her customer service sucks. I am beyond dissapointed of the service and how she spoke to me.

Dr. Nkuna was very professional and humble, I would recommend him. However I was very disappointed by the conduct of the receptionists; they were very loud, speaking and laughing with each other and on the phone. For doctors’ waiting room it was really uncomfortable, absolutely no etiquette. I’ve been to bars that were less noisy!

The first time I went there it was a good experience. I recently went there and the service from the receptionist was very poor she seemed disinterested. The new area where they have moved to is cramped and we sat for two hours waiting for a consult. But the doctor is OK, but seems like he wants to get the consultation over. He does not listen to you and is quick to dismiss at times. But he's good at what he does.
