Good for kids
This historical landmark needs an infrastructure funding injection to attract tourist to the Kuruman and surroundings.Building needs refurbishing, rooms, showers, tiles painting furnishers, dinningroom, lecture rooms, aircondition, maybe a solarplant to provide electricity and move off the grid.

A part of our history is kept alive. Peaceful and tranquility is a reality whilst wandering through the venue.
A place full of history. The old mission station including the school, church and gardens are still in good condition. An enjoyable piece of history about Livingston and the Moffat family, and the first Setswana Bible. It is a self guided tour but still an interesting place to visit if you are in Kuruman.
An iconic piece of old London Missionary Society history. It is built in desert-like miles-from-anywhere scrub, but 5 miles from major water source, The Eye (oasis) which is super generous with precious water. A must is to visit the cemetery, where one faces the reality of the true sacrifices the missionaries made.
It is difficult to share any opinion because it looked a little bit a dilapidated but I would not know how it should look normally
Nice experience I had with my lady seeing, reading&touching some of the things they used before we were born...that was a time travel to 1955 as their "cash book" stated for a day.and my lady felt like some of the people still lives in some of the house...any who it's her not me.and please UNLOCK the other rooms I'm saving my two stars for that.
Definitely worth the visit. This museum, hamlet nearly, gives amazing insight into the lives of the missionaries and into David Livingstone who lived there for some period of time and married one of the Moffat's daughters. Showcases their printing press, school room, etc. As with many such places in S.A. it is slightly run-down, hopefully will receive the TLC it needs in the future.
