I buy for your Stellenbosch branch on a regular basis. (About R800 every fortnight). I've never had problems with this little shop in Die Boord and even though there is only 1 employee, she is always helpful and friendly. As I had to pick something up from Tygervalley last Saturday, I decided to try the Montagu store there. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Staff of 2. SO unfriendly. 1 was sitting on the floor behind the desk and the other one only appeared when we were queuing to pay. My card did not work!!! (I do have money in the bank) The attendant insisted that MY card wasn't working even though the machine and receipt clearly stated that there was something wrong with the shop's credit card machine!! Then I heard the woman on the floor saying on the phone that the machine has not been working at all!!! She was sitting on the floor, knowing that the machine did not work while we shopped for more than 20 minutes and then the second attendant had the audacity to tell me that my card wasn't working and it was my problem. Normally, I would just never go to one of your shops again BUT I don't want to penalize the great little Sellenbosch shop. I can promise you, that that's the ONLY reason I'll be buying from you. Montagu Tygervalley will never see me again. Please tell your Tygervalley personnel that they suck. I have a business of my own and I do understand that things sometimes doesn't work but then you tell your customer - I would have gladly paid cash but after this rally with your shop attendants, I didn't find them worthy of my business.
