The sea view is beautiful and so amazing. We even saw dolphins . I would definitely do it again if I get another chance. It took us 4 hours and half. You MUST MUST carry water at least 1.5 litres. Level of fitness should be 85% .

This trail is fairly easy and almost anybody will manage . Start early in the summer months and take water with. The views are spectacular anywhere on the route. There is picnic spots but please take care and take your rubbish with you. Apply normal safety protocol by walking in groups.
Beautiful view and a relatively easy trail (some of our group did it in flip flops, which was not ideal but manageable. Would not recommend for solo female hikers after 17h00... The views are breathtaking and a great spot for dolphin watching (we've seen them between 18h00 and 19h00 in early December each year). Our group usually just does the first 2km of the hike then we turn back.
We only did a small portion of the hike but enjoyed it nonetheless. Be sure to wear a hat and put on sunscreen as you won't be walking in the shade at all. Beautiful ocean views. Quite steep at the very start but otherwise fairly flat. It might be a bit dangerous for small children who like to run off but otherwise a very chilled hike.
Really beautiful hike that is very clearly marked. Just follow the white/green birds painted on the rocks. Alot of websites mention puff adders (snakes) but we didn’t see any. We hiked to Pinnacle Point and then had breakfast there. Really recommended!! Medium level of fitness required
Beautiful scenery, quite an easy hike- (did it with flip-flops) but rather where shoes! Take enough water! There are some windy parts especially when nearing the golf course. The path is clearly marked and mostly flat until the golf course then the markers get few to Dana bay! But absolutely worth it!
Open fresh air. The wind at your back but not just yet a titanic seen !? Walk, talk, jog or just sit, and occasionally just the right place to dump a body so don't hike at night friends. The pathway can use a lil work I've noticed the not so young at heart does struggle up the beginning of the trail but still enjoyable to all. Be back soon If there is intrest should i find out about rock climbing in in the area ??? Let me know... Till later
The trail from the cave ,starting point, to Danabaai is 14.2 kilometres, excellant walking paths well maintained and beautifull scenary, the walk on the high ground let you have a sea view all along.Walk underneath the newly installed longest over the sea, in the world, glide .Pass through Pinnacle Point gholf estate on the edge and view the cave where archeologists are still busy excavating. Then you pass the private beach of Pinnacle Point, what a pretty sight. From there another couple hours to the end, beware...don't rush take the time to enjoy the wonderfull scenary playing off all the time, make it an experience not a rush to finish hike..enjoy your footsteps ......
