Expectations were low- but in reality a really great outing! There’s more than “just” a ! There’s a minimum aquarium and a post tree, and oh yes, one of the oldest Catholic Churches! Well worth a visit:)

Dias museum is well worth the money! The staff are friendly-ish, and the museum is well laid out. Kids would love looking at pictures without being bored, and the big replica of Dias's ship will entertain everyone. Well worth a visit if you're in or around the Mossel bay area

Wow it's so interesting here! From plants to boats to live sea creatures to artefacts and much much more. One always learns something new when coming here The whole museum is beautiful and there's so much to see and do. There's something for everyone! My favourite part is the aquarium, I love animals. Stepping onto the huge caravel made me feel as though I had traveled back in time. It is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend walking the long route through the garden too because it is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and everything is always in a very good condition

The museum was great fun. We like to learn more interesting facts about the world and that was fun. The touch tank was the bestvpart as my kids got the opportunity to touch the sea creatures anr that gave them n hands on experience that they wil never forget. The liked to go on the boat but the tiuch tank was there altemit favorite thing we had to go back 3 times.

Never knew this place existed. So informative and well laid out. A bit of a hike at times, but well worth it! Loved the Maritime Museum as well!

This museum is very informative concerning the early trade routes. It gives you insight of early technology and the way seafarers lived. Also available is a small aquarium and a few areas used back in the day, like the postal tree. A nice feature is that you can board a replica of the boat/ship that was used back in the day.
