Unfortunately a lot of rain but the bush is beautiful and green and we were lucky enough to see a leopard on our first drive. Motswari beautiful clean and food very good

Such a special place. The animals come right up to the pool and the lodge is nestled right in the forest. The food was also spectacular, they accommodated our dairy and gluten allergies perfectly making some of the best deserts and mains we have had! Then the Safaris were great, we saw the big 5 and so much more. Our guide, Victoria, and tracker Jackie, could spot an ant on an elephants backside and they were so knowledgeable and good with our two daughters.

Absolutely outstanding private lodge to Kruger national park (not in it!) with top service and quality in food and drinks. The game drives are well organized and given the limited visitors very effective. This is certainly an expensive place to stay but well worth the money. Note: the lodge is 40 years old and going into renovation in the next weeks.

For me still one of the best safari places! I have done a lot of safaris, what makes Motswari so special is the family like atmosphere, the nice rooms, the outstanding food and the game drives!

Spent an incredible day at Geiger’s Camp. Remote and peaceful, beautiful setting and great facilities, delicious food, thoughtful design. A gem in the bush! Both drives were special in the company of knowledge guide and tracker. Wish we’d stayed longer!

Great staff, everyone is so welcoming. The place is great, amazing food. We asked for so many recipes while staying there. You can see the big five on your own. No big tourist bus around to ruin your experience. I strongly recommend this place.

My stay was back in February and it was amazing. You really get what you pay for. Our guides were amazing, they new exactly where to go to see the big five and we had amazing conversations. It was all great until the end. While we were on our way out no on communicated to us that we had to check out and pay some costs we incurred. We thought it was like any other hospitality location and would charge to our card on file, so we gave our room keys to employees and they guided us out. Everything seemed normal until we got stopped at the gate 30 mins away from the lodge. We were told to wait while an employee came so we waited about 30 mins. He started off by yelling at us for not paying, calling us very offensive words and cursing. We were trying to explain that we didn’t know and would like to pay but he keep with the aggression and cursing and insisted that we have to drive back and pay. We didn’t want to miss our flight which was leaving in about 40 mins. So in agreement we went to the closest ATM and gave him the cash for the bill. He calmed down but he did not say sorry. His over reaction and professionalism was way out of line and destroyed the way I look at motswari. I understand it is money but to be that rude and name calling to guests is unacceptable.

Motswari Geiger's Camp is PHENOMENAL. We had a 4 night stay here and were blown away - Our trackers, Jackie and Vicky, were second to none and made the trip so incredibly special. The team based at Geiger's Camp go above and beyond to make you feel at home and produce some of the best food we've had. We will never forget this experience and are looking forward to coming back one day very soon! Thank you.
