5 Jan 2021 My family and I travelled from PRETORIA to the farm for a pleasant day outdoors. The farm appeared to be just the right place to enjoy some fresh air. We did call beforehand to ensure our booking was made and it was accepted. We were not informed that there may be any restrictions regarding strawberry picking. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were informed that the cover charge of R80 per person, which usually includes unlimited strawberry picking for take-home and eating on the farm, did not apply to us. Due to the season being over, we were not allowed to take any strawberries home. We were then told we could pick as much as we wanted to eat on the farm, and in the very next breath we were told to not pick too much!! We decided against spending the money there as you can buy two punnets of premium grade strawberries for R100 at Woolworths. We were glad we made this decision because as we left the farm we encountered a couple who were walking away from the farm to their car with a 3 kg box of strawberries that they had just picked at the farm! This meant that the owner of the farm had just allowed patrons to pick and eat strawberries whilst on the farm and to take home fruit as well. The owner failed to inform us that the season was over so there were limitations on picking and taking fruit home. We found this misinformation to be totally unacceptable and decided that a thorough review was required. What a complete rip-off!! Instead we took a drive to the Rhino and Lion Park and had the most enjoyable time- go there instead!

Owner were friendly and helpful, farm is large which means there is mostly a good number of Strawberries to pick. Best to go early to avoid heat. You can take a pram with but will be limited to where you can go due to the narrow isles lower in the farm however the upper part will be accessible. Drinks are sold at the entrance of the farm. Make sure you wear outdoor clothing and long sleeve clothes as you may get itching arms while sorting thru the plants. There is a small are with a jungle gym which was enough to keep my 3 kids entertained along with the roaming horses, sheep and goats. Would definitely visit again. Social distancing and covid 19 precautions were observed.
Staff are welcoming. They will give you a bucket to fill which you can eat after you've picked your strawberries, but you will not be allowed to go home with the strawberries you've picked, you can however pay for them after weighing them. They have lovely benches where you can enjoy a picnic. A jungle gym for kids.
Stunning farm with affordable prices. Take your family and enjoy organic strawberries on site while picking for home.
Perfect Place to visit if someone is looking for strawberry picking. I went with family there and we had a fun. Safe and secure
The place is so quiet and nature speaks to you , while you eat strawberries.
What a lovely strawberry farm! Pluck, eat and feel the freshness.
Very nice place for families to spend the weekend. Kids enjoyed the farm.
