Somehow they have gotten my contact details for someone who owes them money. I get daily phone calls and text messages. I have told them and sent emails that they have the wrong person but they still persist in bugging me. I have blocked them but they keep on calling on different numbers. Not impressed with them at all. When you hand out credit to people CHECK that the contact number is correct BEFORE handing over the money.

I would presume that if a debt collector phones a client that they would address the client in their language. I just made a point by speaking Afrikaans and the person on the other side answered all my questions in English. He fully understand me.

I have received several calls from this company, and I keep explaining that they have the wrong person. But they keep calling. When I called them to resolve this matter the phone just rings and rings. And when I finally get through to a representative. They hang up on me. If I receive one more call from this company I'm going to take it as harassment. After reading some of the comments on hello Peter as well as google reviews, it seems that this company cannot even call the right person to get the money. It's sad that they have to harass others in their pursuit. Please remove my number from your system. I don't have active accounts.

Being harassed for payment of an account that is registered in another person's name. After numerous attempts from me to clear the mistake with them they refuse to remove my number from their database unless I provide them with contact details for the person who the account belongs to. It is tragic that legal entities will fail to respect the rights of privacy of individuals and would rather resort to extortion and intimidation than to trace the correct person. I have today logged a formal complaint with the credit ombud seeing that MBD would rather recover cost on behalf of their client at any cost than to do actual work or make the necessary effort to verify details. They abuse their power as a legal institution as opposed to uphold the rules of law.

They call me about an account which I have valid and legal reason for ending but while explaining to them they drop the phones. I believe they do this just to prove they have called the individual, irrespective of the outcome. When I call back they don't answer their phones.

Absolutely disgusting, my problem is still not resolved, I have made at least 8 phone calls with promises to return my calls, have sent 4 emails. This has been ongoing since the 30th December 2020. Everytime you phone you speak to a different person as they are working from home. As attorneys they are totally unprofessional, when you owe money & make a payment immediately they never leave you alone, you send them proof of payment & they can't find it, all I require is a paid up letter which seems too difficult for them to action

Fraudulent payment arrangement I lost my house due to circumstances 20 years ago....now that I want to by a house a arrangement to pay BMD attorneys a sum of R79 per month that I know nothing a out..can I sue MBD attorneys for fraudulently instating an arrangement without my knowledge and consent..any lawyer that can take on this case probono..I have been declined due to this arrangement that happens to be 5 months in arrears and lost a bargain of a lifetime..a house worth R********** for R750K..can I sue them for the loss as I was preapproved for R********** until this fraudulent arrangement showed up on my credit report
