Warning Do Not Make the same mistake I did. New National Assurance is a bad insurance company, trust me. As a customer I am very unhappy about the service I got from this company. You are disrespectful, arrogant & very unfair towards your clients, or is it black clients that you treat so badly. I am telling everyone I can reach about your poor service including on all social media platforms. Furthermore a campaign to lobby relevant unions & other existing and previous clients who have experienced some treatment to speak out about this company. It is evident that you are used to this behavior and have been getting away with it. No more silence. I will and I am prepared to provide evidence to all and post all the correspondence on twitter for people to have full knowledge. #No more silence on poor service & treatment of clients by New National Assurance

I've never seen this if I were you I would stay far away from these guys my claim is going a third month with no response whatsoever no word nothing. Wanted to get my car sorted b4 the repairer close for December after back and forth with them they said they would pay even now they haven't 3 months this going on.

I have been with New National though Insure.Fin since 2015 and never had a an issue with a claim or service. About 3 years ago I had the unfortunate event of an accident between Christmas and New Year, even though most companies are closed or have limited staff, my claim was approved within 2 weeks! It's all about your broker. New National is like all the other insurers that has terms & conditions. If you do your part you won't have an issue when claiming. If you are not insured correctly, a claim will be repudiated, therefor make sure you are with a trusted broker that understands the policy wording and can insure you insured correctly. Unfortunately New National does not work directly with clients and only by ways of brokers and underwriting managers, therefor if you receive bad service it most probably from your broker or underwriting manager and not the insurer.

WORST insurance company EVER! it has been a month since the claim were reported and forms completed after theft incident and no feedback up to date. We were previously with SANTAM and moved because of how the high rates... but we are definitely going back- as the saying go... you get what you pay for! WORST DECISION EVER!!!!!!!

I find New National Assurance Company professional just like every other short term insurer. I have sadly been through some of the reviews and can openly say every insurer has terms and conditions. The more relaxed these terms and conditions are, the more expensive the premium. In relation to the insurer possibly going bunk or out of money, there are stringent capital adequacy requirements that every insurer has to meet to stay in business. In this regard, NNAC meets these requirements comfortably. With regards to the comment relating to the insurer looking for excuses not to pay, the terms and conditions of ones policy dictates what should be paid and what should not be paid. To remain in business an insurer has to practice this without getting emotionally involved. Even big insurers like Santam practice this, one can easily term this as finding an excuse not to pay. I would suggest you give them an opportunity like you do you your current insurer and formulate your very own opinion of their service and what the company stands for!
