The store is a true representation of the social media outrage of the Shopriye group treating people different ways according to color. I always have to drive across town to Amajuba Mall due to the horrible service in this Checkers. I'm appalled by the service ALL THE TIME! I was even told to call the switchboard and speak to the admin manager after asking for service at the Money Market yesterday. All I wanted was to buy 2 bus tickets. After driving to Amajuba Mall, this was done in less than 5 minutes with no hassles.

The first ever Checkers that I got food from that did not make me sick! These ladies deserve some accolades! The Chicken strips were divine. The store is neat and well arranged and easily accessible.

ALL THE TILL POINTS WERE LONG QUES, I ONLY HAD 1 ITEM IN MY HAND AND SAW THE CIGARETTE COUNTER LADY WAS SITTING WITH NO CUSTOMERS AND THE MANAGERESS WAS ALSO STANDING THERE. I ASKED IF I COULD PAY MY 1 ITEM AND SHE SAID NO ONLY IF I WANT TO BUY CIGARETTES TOO. WHILE STANDING IN THE LONG QUE FOR ONE ITEM, I SAW TWO BLACK LADIES WITH LOTS OF GROCERIES GOING TO THE SAME COUNTER AND THEY WERE ASSISTED WITHOUT THEM BUYING CIGARETTES. ON MY INQUIRY AS TO WHY THEY WERE SERVED SHE SAID THEY WERE EMPLOYEES WHICH I WAS NOT SURE OF EITHER BUT EVEN IS THEY WERE, WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE CHECKERS BRAG FALSELY ABOUT ON ADVERTS ! PAYING CUSTOMERS GET SHOWN AWAY BUT IT ALSO MIGHT BE THAT MY SKIN COLOUR WAS TOO LIGHT !
