Sent a shaft for repairs last year. Since then, the same shaft had been sent back to them 4 times, each time there's a different version of story, it ended up costing more and more money. I decided to speak with the owner, unfortunately he replied carelessly. I will take our jobs to some where else and will never deal with them again. It is a pity that such poor service comes from a shop which bears the name of this lovely town. Shame. Update on 2018-09-07 After deciding to take my work to another engineering, Newcastle Auto Engineering refused to release my part stating that i must pay R450. According to their explanation, they spent time to strip it off. But I've got picture to prove that they did not do anything else other than taking the shaft out of the roller. It doesn't cost R450 and we could've done it by ourselves. Reason why we didn't take it out because just to show them we did not touch their works done by them several times before. It's a rip off shop Beware of it. The above comments were to Newcastle motor & engineering, this one is Newcastle Auto Engineers. My apology.

Worst place I have ever dealt with. They don't fix or do their work properly had to end up taking my stuff to another engineer to redo the work that I had already paid for. I would not recommend this place to anyone
