Absolutely stunning place. Well maintained and super clean. Entrance to the place is R120 per person. Some parts of the park are restricted so you won't get to see the rest of the place. No food is allowed into the park. No picnics are allowed. There is a restaurant there and in order to get a table and be served food you have to make a book, otherwise you can just have a drink and tapas. I feel like the information about making a booking at the restaurant is very important but you only find out about it when you make a payment to enter the park. The place is beautiful and worth a visit. Just be ready when you go there.

A very beautiful place not so far from Johannesburg. Definitely worth the drive. Well maintained lawns with lots of walking to do and art pieces to see. Don't rob yourself of the beautiful scenery. The place is big. If you're planning to have a picnic, note that own food is not allowed here. We were only allowed to buy baguettes and drinks from the restaurant. The restaurant requires pre booking. There's a different entry fee for people who have booked the restaurant and those coming just to the park.

A great idea for a Sunday afternoon stroll. You can grab a snack and a take away coffee at the tappas section of the restaurant and take it with you on your walk around Nirox. It’s R120pp. The sculptures were awesome ! Only downfall is that there aren’t any rationales, so we didn’t really understand any of the meaning behind the artwork, would have been cool to read about it. Other wise - awesome experience, definitely taking art to a new level.

Pictures will not do justice to what the eye will see. The art, the lay of the land.... It's like an artists golf course, the water ways, the lilies... It's a great place to get away and just absorb the creativity of the mind. Recommended. The sandwich corner has a great view, open and spacious.

Very cool, peaceful, surreal spot. The park is part of an art school and residency. There's a restaurant inside the park. After paying the entrance fee at the gate you can roam around the park looking at the art. I think there's an app coming someday with a map of the property so you can read more about the art pieces...

Stunning place, spent a morning with the family in the beautiful hot sun. Bottled water is not allowed into the facility and after a little while it got hot. Restaurant is strictly bookings only so you can't even get water from there without a reservation. Honestly think that with the pricey entrance fee they could at least allow water or a place to buy water. A family of 4 costs over R300 just to enter. Now for the positives...the place was beautiful and we'll maintained when we got there. Sculptures line the hills and rivers and the landscape is stunning. Artists really did a fantastic job. Maybe a few more explanations of what the scriptures were about would be nice. Great morning anyway and not far from JHB.

The park in Cradle valley is a tranquil escape of green. There are but a few sculptures in the park randomly placed between ponds, trees and fresh cut lawns. There are a couple of small waterfall scattered between the transitions of the pond. The entrance fee to the park is quite high if considering the number and quality of sculptures in the park. No food or drinks not even water is allowed into the park and you are obligated to go to the restaurant.

Pricy to get in but a really well maintained beautiful garden. We got a take a sandwich to eat in the gardens from and then there was fire. Tasty but way over priced for what it was. Would go again for a special occasion.
