Really cool place to chill out with a few friends. They also have an Improv Comedy night every Monday night at 8. They offer some quality food at a good price too

I love going on Sunday evenings like at 19h30 have some drinks with a starter chill out by the fire. Meet interesting people be friendly and chill til the comedy show at 20h30 and its such a surprise who is going to kill some jokes. You may get some celebs comedian or the new up and coming who are really good killer. But you always get 1 wanna be comedian whos just not that funny. Yeah its a pretty cool place.

Very nice vibe, usually full of locals. I love their live music evenings, most of the times there's not even a cover charge, they just pass the hat around. Make sure to give, its not easy making a living as a musician. Great backyard, bring-and-braai on Sundays!

Haven't checked out the backpacking side. The bar is excellent. Bartenders are quick with drinks, waitresses quick to take your order. Outside has a nice fire pit and a projector that shows trippy films. Open mic comedy nights, improv comedy, open mic music nights, free performances, paid performances. Good football fans that aren't too rowdy. Chill place

Inus Venter

One of the local hangouts of Obs. They have various shows and gigs going down through the course of the months, one of the better ones is comedy Sundays! It's not a fancy fine dining restaurant with fabric napkins and pretentious wine lists aimed at making you sound like a total knob trying to pronounce the "carefully selected" name of some wine farm in France no one heard about. This is what I picture the green dragon would feel like in the tales of JR Tolkin's books. A culmination of all walks of life. No stereotypes are passed down here. Call up your mates, have a few beers, huddle around the camp fire out back and thone tell tales of the day!
