A real good international airport.️ No big issues to find the way. I twice picked up a rental car, easy going. Shopping and lingering while waiting for the departure, actually a good option. I quickly could leave the airport by rental car and there were no big issues to find the right way towards Bethlehem or Durban via the N3. In advance I got my best route and the directions by Google Maps, jip indeed. Moreover some small maps to orientate

The largest airport in Africa with flights to nearly every destination whether local or international. A wide variety of shops and restaurants in the airport for those waiting for loved ones to return or waiting for a flight. A bookstore for those who wish to read the latest bestseller on a long flight. Organized and efficient. World class

I have a visor mask on. Something less permeable than a cloth or disposable mask I was told it is not proper. First of all its water proof, does not allow any droplet to me or from me. I'm starting to wonder if people understand the purpose of a mask and basic principles of infection control. Disappointing really

Things are different now because of Covid there's only one entrance and exit.. but in terms of getting around once your in the airport it's great. And security are super helpful if you're not sure where to go

A sign at the bottom of the escalator indicating Biddestone lounge was closed would have been useful. Everything else was fine. Staff helpful and efficient

It's an airport:-) Remember that you cant enter the building with the traveller and you need to go to drop-off. When flights arrive, there is HECTIC traffic and passengers and kids crossing the road so be extra careful. If you are picking someone up, best they let you know the number of the closest pillar they are waiting at as all pillars are numbered.

Very well organised! expected the worst and to have "hassles" with additional COVID measures, but my experience was quite the opposite. As long as you have the appropriate documentation ready you will breeze through and come out the other end with ease. Well done O.R Tambo International！

The last place in South Africa i get before i board, it feels very safe and secure. On Friday nights Terminal B gets very very Busy and a lot of police presence also. I always leave my cars at the parking and come back to collect them.
