This review is a bit late, but wow did these guys surprise me. I do not possess a credit card (fear of any debt traps), so renting a car has always been an issue for me with all the mainstream guys out there. During my holiday travel in December, I looked up Pace as my second option, and being left stranded at PE Airport by all the rental companies there I decided to go with Pace. They are located approx 1km from the airport terminal. It was around 8pm and they offered to come and pick me up by the terminal and we headed to their office. Rental price was super reasonable and they gave me all the info I needed to be safe on the PE roads. The car was super clean and in mint condition. My 5 day rental turned out to be the best rental experience I have ever had. on returning the car, they dropped us off at the airport terminal and wished us well as we went on our way. I will always use Pace as my go to rental place from now on. NO FUSS, NO HUSTLE!!! I have been raving about them to colleagues and friends all over. I just hope as they grow, they maintain the super high level of service! Benchmark set!

Took car for 7days, their do not offer unlimited km, only 200 km/per day. There services worst that ever received any where, was almost over charged, lucky the contract did not print, then the person that was helping me called someone for help, then was given the correct price according to them. The brakes were making noise, radio was only playing radio no mp3; the rear door was problem as well and etc. Unhappy about the services that received at Pace Car Rental Port Elizabeth, wish name n shame the person for taking me for granted.
This small car hire company has now found a permanent client with me. Excellent caring service. I had a car delivered to my hospital urgently and taking it back was a smooth process. They really offer a boutique service.

It will be my very first time using Pace and Im already impressed by their tele communication, they sound very friendly and helpful, I'm hoping for the best as I'll be using them more often now than stressing about credit cards ️
I had rather a disappointing experience. I had book a car and everything was confirmed I even sent my flight details for my arrival. Upon arrival Friday late I called to say I have landed and where can I come collect the car, turns out they did not know about my booking, I had to sent proof that I did accept the booking which I did, then I was promised the car would be ready for me to pick up at 9am. I called at 8am the following day , was told to rather come at 10am. The car was only ready at 11am which was too late and we had a plan to drive to Tsitsikamma in the early morning of Saturday, which did not happen!
