unfortunately dirty cutlery and owner rude when I called to make booking :(

There are plenty much nicer homes in the surrounding area, and the owners aren't rude and unpleasant. From our first moment engaging with this home and the owner, it was unpleasant. First, the owner was extremely rude. When we enquired about the price, she told us to email and implied that we couldn't read - spelling out the word "from" to a 60 year-old man who was simply not tech savvy and didn't understand the rates were on a "from 800" and not set-at-800 basis. Alas, we figured it out and made the booking anyway, hoping for the best. When we got there, the place was not in a good condition. The house had a strange smell, the sheets weren't washed properly, and the DSTV kept malfunctioning. The cutlery hadn't been washed properly. I would have been able to forgive all of this if the owner hadn't already been rude in the first place and left a sour taste in our mouths. I do not recommend going here. If I could grant lower than 1 star, I would. But hey, at least the place is close to the beach.
Very cosy, close to the beach. Good break from city living. Great if you're seeking peace and quiet.
Aloe Halt is a unique little self catering accomodation unit. Walking distance from the stunning beaches of patrenoster and the amazing little shops and restaurants. Can sleep multiple people and has all the accessories needed to have an amazing vacation.
A comfortable place and near the sea for those wanting to take walks on the beach.They offer DSTV premium for the sportlovers and panel heaters for the cooler months.No sea view but close enough to hear the waves at night and a bonus:a lock up garage onsite.There is also a neighbourhood watch actively which adds to the level of security in the area
