Fantastic ambience! The staff were great and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Pieter's service was 5 stars! He is super hospitable and engaging, a treat to chat to. The food was good, portions very generous, but 4 stars - it lacked attention to detail as if it was repeated too often. Overall great experience though, will be back to hopefully find that special something in a different menu option.

This is what you call top class rustic. It has a nice outdoor beach feeling with a cozy touch. Service was super nice and can't fault the food. Presentation and taste was out of this world. If you visit Paternoster, be sure to drop in for West Coast fine dinning.
One of the best places. Not only will you be charmed by the decor and impeccable service, but the seafood laksa, calamari starter and steak tartare will blow your mind. Will always pop in for a meal if I'm in the area.
Book early to not be disappointed. Unless you're a good tipper or a fast eater you might get a table... Food was scrumptious and the service was friendly and fantastic. The setting is magical and you can spend a long time here
We loved The Noisy Oyster! The restaurant is quirky with a cool vibe. The vegan dish was insanely good, even though it reads quite simply on the menu it was so tasty!! The mussels were hands down the best mussels I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend if you’re visiting paternoster
Paternoster was on my bucket list. I am not disappointed. Spectacular setting. Old fishing village on the west coast of South Africa takes you back to a forgotten time.....The Noisy Oyster served us a gastronomic delight. The beautiful lady owner, of "Debbie does Dallas" proportions welcomed us with a smile. Her food menu of "Foreplay", "Inter course" and "Afterglow" tickled my naughty bits. Food pornography at is best.
Bream was fantastic , really enjoyed flavours. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was excellent.
A special gem in Paternoster. Great service, a secluded & romantic setting make this restaurant a top experience. I can recommend the delicious fresh oysters and the Gunard - the best fish I have ever had.
