I always loved getting the fresh rolls & buns from the bakery, but of recent, note that the quality & freshness is deteriorating. The area is no longer safe anymore. There was an attempted hijacking just outside the place a few months ago. One thing for sure they need to relook at their bread pricing. You can pay less anywhere else, even a garage.

It serves its purpose as a corner shop and very conveniently situated. However, i do feel that it has seen better days quality-wise. The staff seem less friendly and products such as the pies seem to not have the same quality as previously had. Otherwise, this is a lovely shop at which i have fond memories of as a child i primary school

Pelham Tea room makes the most delicious homemade pies . Best pies I have ever eaten. They sell out very quickly make sure you get there early. My ultimate favourite is the burger mmm yum.

Whilst I do appreciate a good secure shopping environment, being followed and watched like a hawk is extremely uncomfortable. Especially when, after further observation, only a certain type of people are the ones being watched. On the plus side, they have almost anything you could need at decent prices. The customer profiling carried out by security however is quite disconcerting.
