Just wanted to say a heartfelt thanks for all your efforts during the course of you teaching me. I still cannot believe that I played to an audience last night! Thank you for inspiring and encouraging me. You have played such an important part of my journey this year and I will always be truly grateful to you. You have a phenomenal gift (the Queen medley was awesome!) and I hope that you will continue to teach and inspire others the way you have done for me!

Under Manishka's patient , knowledgeable guidance I have blossomed so much since I started piano lessons in January this year. She encourages me at every turn and gives useful constructive feedback. I can say with certainty that I will not be where I am today with my piano playing if it weren't for her. She has a lovely calming and supportive way about her that has made all the difference in my approach to learning music. I can strongly recommend her as an excellent teacher!

It has been my dream to play the piano since childhood and I honestly thought that I wouldn't achieve much at this age. I have started lessons with Manishka in March this year and have surprised myself at the progress I've made in such a short space of time. This is only possible because of Manishkas personal interest in each student, her patience and dedication as a teacher. She goes the extra mile by requesting videos and sound clips of your practice in the period between lessons and will gladly advise u after hours and on weekends in order to perfect ur pieces for the next lesson. Her teaching methods are exciting and innovative and inspire you to keep playing with enthusiasm and joy.

I was really not impressed with my dealings with Manishka. I have been trying to organise lessons for my son for almost a month. Manishka took a week to get back to me via email on both of the occasions Ive contacted her. After completing an extensive survey and reading through and accepting her lengthy studio rules I was told she would be in contact with a trial lesson. Manishka messaged me at 21h30 to confirm a lesson but when I replied at 8am the following morning the slot was already taken. We got another slot the following week however Manishka canceled this on the day due to my "lack of payment".. I explained to Manishka that due to 4hrs of unscheduled load shedding I was unable to EFT the day before and intended to bring cash to the trial lesson to pay beforehand however this was not a suitable form of payment for her. She explained that she has had other people leave because they did not like her method of "doing business" and told me I should seek piano lessons elsewhere. I do believe in giving people honest feedback and calling out bad service, if only for them to improve their business skills. However when I mentioned this Manishka proceeded to call me "rude" and, very childishly, blocked me on WhatsApp. It seems as though Manishka has been burned before with regards to payments but her incredibly inflexible and uncommunicative approach is very frustrating for parents who are simply trying to organise a kids piano lesson. She's probably an excellent piano teacher, but has a few things to learn about dealing with people.
