Dit is 'n wonderlike stukkie geskiedenis, want hier het Piet Retief sy plaas Strandfontein gehad. Dié belangrike voortrekker het in 1837 die Groot Trek aangevang. This is a great piece of history, because here Piet Retief had his farm Strandfontein. In 1837 this important pioneer embarked upon the Great Trek.
