The library is probably one of the best, the people who work there however not so much, except for one of them.

It the UKZN library at PMB campus, it has sections for undergraduates, research common for postgraduate, printing and meeting room. It has an elibrary.

This Library is the main library for the University. The library is big and spacious and the display of new fiction books is pleasant on the eyes. However the lift for disabled people was broken. If you can't climb stairs be aware of this!

The ground floor (G) has computers so that students can do their work online, it also has a few make-shift offices where students can go to for some help with what books to borrow, what work is relevant and anything module-related which is a great source of extra help for learners, this is also the floor with the issue desk for borrowing books as well as where all administration activity happens. The lobby ground floor (LG)has many printers and photocopiers available for students to use so that they can print out their assignments. This also has the multimedia classroom and discussion rooms where students can go in groups to study and revise work in a quiet and private space. Only 3 discussion rooms are available and can only be booked by the hour, a minimum of 2 people is required to book the room. LG also has tables for students to write out their notes and do some work, also has plug points so that students can bring their chargers. The first floor (1) is where all textbooks and course material is found, has a few tables with plug points and is much quieter than the ground and lobby ground floors. The second floor (2) follows the same plan as the first floor and is a great place to study. 2 computers are available for use on the second floor. The library has WiFi and is a great place for students to study and do their work. Computers are a bit outdated and the WiFi can sometimes be slow if the library has full capacity of students.

This is where I spent a lot of my studying for my masters degree, this library gave me all the resources I need in order to pass.

The upper levels are good for studying but ground and basement are too loud for any work to be done
