I bought a rotisserie chicken. I took a bite which tasted like cardboard dipped in old oil. Was this made on Saturday. (Today is Sunday). I even asked for FRESH CHICKEN and was pointed to the below specimen that should only be allowed in a biology lab studying the salmonella virus. It is disgusting.

Meat smells bad and times chicken is rotton. Check their sb dates always overdue on shelf I bought xtra lean mince 5 percent fat only was so much fat I drained after cooking it blocked my drain See pic

I like shopping in a smaller Centre. And this Checkers has everything I need for basic grocery shopping.

Often disappointing to shop here. Prices on shelves not up to date. Bone fragments in wors and mince in spite of promises by regional butcher that matter will be investigated and solved. Shelf packers’ trolleys left untended and blocking aisles.
