Very nice for a hike or family pick nick, good crowds. Not too busy some zebras and other wild life and a view of PMB.

Entrance was free. The reserve is neat and clean however toilet facilities need to be improved. Beautiful surroundings and scenery. Apparently there is a variety of wildlife, but we only saw a few zebras. There is also a hiking trail. Overall, a good place to enjoy a picnic or braai or go on a hike.

Midmar Dam is always a wonderful day visit destination for us and our family. It's so close by and to hook our boat, have a picnic and do some water skiing is a great break! The serenity of the picturesque surrounding area and the expanse of water, the peaceful quiet, lapping water, the birds, the walks....
