As long as you're there by 9 there'll be something interesting for you to eat. Non-food stalls are a bit tired, but bibliophiles have two choices. There are often clothing, toys n tat, homemade articles, spill-over store stalls and best of all the plants and fresh produce. These last two are the highlights of the market. Parking is free and as it's adjacent to the Botanical Gardens you might want to move your car 500metres, and pay for a wander around there after you've made your purchases.

Worth a visit. Local produce, preserves, dairy products, organic meats, preserved meats, wonderful big brown mushrooms, cakes and breads, seedlings etc. Dogs on leashes welcome. Visit the Indigenous plant nursery and the botanical gardens too.
