I am extremely disappointed with the service. We had paid the full amount upfront and they had given us an ETA of 7 working days - It is almost a month later and the radiator is still not ready. They did not once call to tell me of any delays - I was always the one to call. I will not be using them again. (I would give them negative stars if possible)

VERY VERY BAD SERVICE!!! Took our radiator in January 2021, paid the full amount on Feb 2021 and now its March 2021 and radiator is still not fixed, no feedback whatsoever. We have been calling them and they give us the run around. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Greetings All, Silverton Radiators, 4 Malcolm Rd, Westmead, Pinetown, KZN, were HIGHLY recommended by several family and friends. I took my motor cycle radiators in for straightening, fin and core dressing on Monday morning @ 09:30, 20th July 2020. My details were taken and I requested a quote. Wednesday afternoon 22nd July @ 13:15 still no phone call and no quote. I called the office and spoke to Logan and he said, “As we speak your radiators are in the workshop being straightened and then going to be pressure tested and thereafter a quote will be given just in case there are leaks.” Friday afternoon, 24th July, still no phone call and no quote. I drove to their office and asked the progress on my radiators as I was still waiting for the phone call and quote. My radiators were then fetched from the workshop and brought into reception. They had already been straightened and the fins had partly been dressed and not complete. I then asked, “I still have not received a quote?”, The reply was. “We normally charge R650 per radiator, but we can do this for R450 per radiator”. (Basically now under obligation to indirectly accept the quote, not very professional). I was also told that It would take an hour to complete. I asked if they were open tomorrow, being Saturday, and reply was yes. I collected my radiators Saturday morning and was not made aware of VAT being excluded. Question?. How can a company do a job about 70% and then quote you? Legally, I could have refused to pay and demanded my radiators be returned. As for the workmanship, I cannot comment as the radiators are second hand. I asked if there was a warranty/guarantee and was told, “As there were “no” repairs carried out there is no warranty. In all of the above I did not receive an update and no phone call. The public can decide if they would like to use Silverton Radiators, 4 Malcolm Road, West mead., KZN. Extremely Disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charged R750 to essentially put some JB Weld (or equivalent) on the pinhole puncture I needed repaired, spraypaint the radiator (not needed), and break the rim off the top hose connector.
