What's a perfect little pub to get together with mates after work and have an ice cold beer. The food is really really good and I would most certainly recommend this Pub.

No real Portuguese feel or ambiance apart from the map of Madeira, some flags and a waitress who advised she is half Portuguese. Ordered the Trinchado (starter portion) and the Portuguese Chicken. Meat was tender, garlic sauce too runny with a touch too much oil. It lacked punch (heat), and although a separate bottle of chilli sauce was provided it is much better when the dish arrives with the heat already incorporated. The chicken was a tad dry although tasty and the burnt skin was not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Two people smoking within the eating/bar area and not in the designated area, contributed to our quick departure once we had eaten. Not a place I would visit again in a hurry.
