My friends and I went out for lunch there, and got food poisoning. I will not be going back here, very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The waitress that served us was kind, so that really was the only thing that was good about that whole experience.

There service suck i went on the 27th to eat there and i waited almost a hour just for ke food..the table had no knifes to eat and when i left i swpited my card and it was debbited twice i spoke to hans the manger and send my banking statement till today the 1st still no refund....

My friend and I decided to go out and eat some sushi and was very disappointed with the place our table was sticky and even the lemon slices in our glasses looked old and used. Our waitress was very unfriendly and not welcoming at all. Would not recommend!! Even my simple dessert order got messed up so to be honest I am very disappointed and would not want to come back to this John dory’s !!! The more I sit here the more upset and angry I get about the service, waiters aren’t even wearing their masks proper and I am questioning their hygiene of the place

Enjoyed a great hake and chips meal at John Dory's. Probably one of the best prepared hakes I have had in ages! The chunky chips were also excellent. What was a bit confusing was that the menu specified that coleslaw was served with the dish (and it wasn't indicated that coleslaw was a substitute for chips), but none was served. More clear details on the menu regarding the side options would be appreciated. The service was slightly slow - probably due to the protocols in place during lockdown...reduced staff etc., but I believe it would normally be faster. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
