I wouldn't even give a star if that was possible. Was very pasient yesterday when I went to the MTN store, Sat there till way past 6 after my "session" was interrupted by another customer. The lady who helped me said only 10 min then she will call the MTN help desk if she hadn't received a reply on the system while she helped the other customer. more than a half and hour later she was back to me and still didn't have an answer because the people she was supposed to call already left the office. She said that she will call them "Tomorrow" and then she will phone me to let me know. I have been calling the store for the last hour now. a Man answered and asked me to call back in 5 min because she was busy with a client. So I called back twice after 5 min and no answer. waited again and then called again, she was open and he handed her the phone then they ended the call without talking to me. I called again twice and no answer. I am very unsatisfied with MTN, Will go to Open my new contract at Vodacom! MTN's Service in the store, online and help desks are pathetic!

I know I've said that their phone etiquette was subpar as compared their Mooirivier Junction - MTN store sister but their in-house service is amazing. Mooirivier Junction is unable to customize the pricing, either that or law of technical skills to navigate their portal. I am quite disappointed with their level of knowledge for some of their products whereas at Vodacom they have both product, pricing and technical knowledge and are able to not even suggest, but share personal experiences. Which to me is a keystone in Customer Service. Clients do not only want to know what's best for them but they also want to know how well items bought function and not from a sales point of view but from a personal review point of view. This is like shopping empathy. A little user experience training will do the MTN team a great deal. If they could also have smart tv's, consoles and other smart devices like home security surveillance systems, cleaning robots, IoT ready lighting systems they can gear themselves up for a surge of sales.

Unfortunately one of the worst Mtn stores in South-Africa. Poor servuve overall. A massive line outside the store, when you come in you can see why. The staff sitting around on the chairs helping no customers. Not one customer has been helped.

it is never a pleasant visit to this store. the ladies there are extremely rude. not willing to help. i am not asking for much i just need my stolen cellphone to be blacklisted they are not being helpful with that. since Sunday i have not been helped just because they seem so not interested in doing what they were hired to do. it was a very traumatic experience i went through, i was not looking for sympathy or anything i lust need help to blacklist my phone as the insurance needs the ITC reference in order to process my claim. They do not care about their clients, even worse when you call the store phone they are ignoring it intentionally and say we are annoying for wanting them to do their jobs. i hope whoever that is going to read this will have a heart and be kind enough to assist me with blacklisting my phone.

The Samsung rep is very knowledgeable and has excellent service as well as one or two other staff, but our service experience here has been well below average - system is offline and takes hours to connect, can not get through to this store on the phone line to check if system is back online (no answer at all), and at times it feels like some staff just have no idea what service excellence is with little to no proactiveness or regard for their customer's time. It honestly is a drag and we dread having to go here for upgrades or anything at all.
