Whilst I have absolutely no complaints concerning the staff of this shop (I would give 5 Stars), we are absolutely appalled over Cell C's customer-hostile policies: As our cell contract was due for an upgrade, we decided to take up an offer for an Huawei Cell. We looked at it and asked some questions; then my husband went to the shop on the following Sunday, signed for the upgrade, and brought the cell phone home. As I discovered during those next 2 days, this device is very heavy - nearly 200 gr., and large. It is very cumbersome to use. I went to the shop on Wednesday, 3 days after the purchase, and asked to return this phone and revert the upgrade. After discussing the situation with the Regional Office, the staff advised me that this would cost us R 6000!!! - and, yes, just reverting the upgrade!(which, by that time, had only been in place for 3 days; e.g. well within the 7 days return period as per the current consumer regulations.) We considerer such an amount - just for reverting to pre-upgrade conditions - a rip-off. Contrary to their big slogans, Cell C herewith confirms that customer satisfaction and relation is of no interest to this company. In the past, I gladly promoted Cell C amongst friends and family, when such a situation arose. It goes without saying that in future I will promote instead the bad deal received from Cell C.

At first I was very reluctant to purchase a phone online and put the money in The Cell stores account.But from start to finish the whole procedure went very smoothly and was delt with professionally. I was constantly updated where my order was ,when my payment was received and on the day of delivery I was asked to confirm my address and a driver would deliver it before 5,which he most certainly did .The service is very efficient ,reliable and I would recommend them to anyone.I will most certainly be using them again
