The management staff there are very helpful. Service delivery there. The shop itself is clean and organized. Love it there also love their fresh fruits

Our first trip to Checkers Brooklyn, FNB offers addition loyalty points when shopping at Checkers, so thought it was time to give it a try. On arrival, support for the Soccer World Cup was clearly evident with all the flags displayed, very colourful. Place was busy, but not isle blocking busy. Only a few old metal trollies to pick from, first one had a jammed castor, the one we picked did not look much better. Directly in front of the entrance are the perishables and frozen food section, meaning that one has to cross passed all the tills to start at the detergents etc. on the far side of the shopping area. Fair selection to pick from, most have two or three brands to choose from. Noticed a Price Check Station at the end of the first isle we started in. Very pleased to see, many other grocery stores do not have one leaving the only choice is to proceed to the front of the store and find someone willing to assist. Following the perishables, there was a fair cheese selection followed by the wine section, some pretty good reds there. In summary, not to bad compared to other stores. However, those trollies are overdue for refurbishment. Will perhaps go back next month.

I go to Checkers a couple of times weekly; I particularly like the till allocated to seniors, etc. The staff seems helpful throughout the whole store. Staff serving at the tills are also helpful

Vast product range, good food, good people. Best supermarket to visit whenever you are at Brooklyn mall. I have found the store to be clean and inviting.

This shop had a facelift and what a superb surprise I can recommend this shop for its cold meat counter I can recommend the sushi counter The layout of shop is done well The variety of cold meats surprised me !

I had an unfortunate incident at Checkers, Brooklyn on 7 January 2021 at about 16:00. Unbeknown to me I dropped my satchel with my cell phone and charger inside when I used the hand sanitizer at the entrance. When the gentleman (if I can call him that) behind my saw my mishap but realised I did not know my mistake, he simply turned around and walked away with my possessions. When paying at cashiers I discovered my loss. Now, on a positive note: I reported my mishap to security at Checkers. Security services were brilliant! They immediately responded. The theft was noticed on their security cameras. The audacity of the thief shocked Security as much. Understandably, I never saw the gentleman/thief again. But what I want to emphasise is the support and understanding provided by Checkers Brooklyn Security Services. Obviously I do not know all their names, but I can single out Pule and his colleague Salome. Thank you! I will continue to be a regular shopper there.

Meat is of a poor quality and badly prepared and packed. Fresh vegetables are very poor quality for the price. Staff are Sirly and unwilling to help.
