My first review I gave here 4 stars because everything went so smoothly and it was a great experience. But now the line has been crossed. As this is a private doctor I expect not to wait too long for my appointment, but this is a second time in a row where I have to about 2 hours just to see the doctor for 10 min where she doesn’t even listen to my questions, she just writes a prescription and sends me off. I refuse to pay R850 just for 10min of “professional advise”.

I'm afraid the reviews are correct, this doctor overcharge. By a lot! I went to her to have 3 suspicious items checked out, and decided to have biopsies done, and then come back two weeks later to hear the result. Her standard fee is R850 per consolation. All together, it cost me R4655, and that was only because I was a private client. Had I exposed her to my medical aid, it would've cost me R1940. Per biopsy. And that is excluding the cost of the lab, that is only for her "expertise". So all together, it would've cost me about R7520 had I paid through the medical aid. Not only that, she's done zero preparation for my follow up. She basically just read the report to me, and then discovered something was not clear to her, and then tried to phone the lab during my appointment. I was suppose to go for a follow up in 6 weeks, needless to say, I declined. I've consulted a couple of other doctors during the two weeks, and from my impression, asking R2000 per biopsy is ridiculously excessive. I'll cut my losses, and rather go to a different doctor next time. EDIT: So I just discovered that everything I payed was ONLY for the doctor, and that the Pathologist account was still outstanding, which was another R6000. So, the whole affair cost me R10 000 in the end! Remember, this is just for the diagnoses, no treatment was started yet.

I had such a terrible experience with this Doctor, I would not recommend her to anyone. Firstly, she charges you before she even sees you. I was charged for a visit that she didn't show up for. She made me go to a day hospital - at great expense to my medical aid - only to completely botch an easy procedure. She then charged full price for a consult for my follow up and to remove the stitches. She really did a terrible job and left a scar. I went to another dermatologist - Dr U Naidoo - who redid the entire procedure in her rooms in under 20 minutes and at a very reasonable cost.

No. Don't go there. She does not care what the real problem is. It's about the money. I'm so disappointed. She drained my m/aid savings, for procedures not necessary. R14000 for an ear skin infection. And I still have it. No savings now. But still have the problem.

Very unprofessional, will not return to this Dr. The skin problem was not resolved, the service was not good at all. The staff seem to be lost in their phones. Their filing system needs to be checked, as it seems to be in total disarray.

Called reception to ask if they accept medical aid, the receptionist didnt even ask me to hold i just get silence and next thing another person speaks to me. So unprofessional didnt even want the appointment.
