Facilities good for rustic weddings. Adequate parking. Some beautiful spots for photos along the river. Chapel adjoining function hall and outside deck all joined by raised wooden walkways. Basic on-site accommodation for wedding party with a separate suite for bridal couple which is also accessible from the outside deck via a raised wooden walkway. A rather noisy and manually operated hanging 'trolley car' brought the bridal couple to the deck after the photos. Chapel is all wood with open sides which can be closed if needed. Hall is large with very high ceiling with glass doors on the side adjoining the deck. The facilities include toilets, a place for a DJ (in-house DJ available) serving station and a large bar which is well stocked and run. A cheese and snack table with drinks was provided on the deck while the bridal party had photographs taken at the river. The meal provided was simple but tasty and the bar operated on a cash basis (optional) and a selection of wines was available or corkage was payable on wine brought in. The only negative comment is that the deck was a bit warm in the sun for a time, and flies were a problem with the food served on the deck. Not an easy problem to solve. One comment, the hall is large and facilities and tables are mostly wood and are rustic. If you want a 'posh' wedding a fair amount of decor and table arrangements will be needed to fill the hall. Overall a very enjoyable wedding with good help and support from the venue owners. Note: Better signage is needed at main road. My GPS did not get me there, it seems the service road on which the venue is located 'confused' it.

Great wedding venue. Plenty of space with a old farm style feel. Cable cart entry for newly weds a must ;-) nice big hall for big weddings. Great food. Service was awesome:-)

Beautiful name, wonderful idea but average execution. This venue is situated is Pretoria North/East. It looks like a labour of love for the owners and you can see and feel it. It's a unique wedding venue, well nestled in its surroundings. However, I felt it was too large and open, which removed a bit of that cozy feeling you want with a wedding. It also appears to be the type of place you need a lot of deco for and definitely fine weather conditions for it to be a wonderful occasion. I'd say a but more grooming of nature and a more deliberate incorporation of the nearby river would go a long way to improving the experience. Having said all the above, I'd say this play is worth a visit.
