A family member was unexpectedly diagnosed with a tumor and needed urgent surgery. They were admitted immediately and operated on the next day. The staff in the ward were knowledgable, professional, caring and so kind. Thank you to each and every healthcare worker for your hard work, our appreciation for your selfless acts of kindness cannot be expressed enough. Thank you for saving my loved ones life!

My son had an accident and a full gate fell on him so he leg was fractured and took him to Pretoria west hospital emergency they did the scan and everything but reffered us to kalafong of which the ambulance brought us here 21:26 and right now it is 00:52 and we are still waiting for the bone specialist, does this doctor even exist here becoz i don't see no queue but waiting while my 20months old son is in pain. Worst service ever!

I was admitted on Saturday 13/03/2021 and today is my fifth day at this hospital, and they still haven't operated my fractured leg. Mind you I have 7 holes from the gun wounds. I had worms coming out of my wounds, and when I informed the doctors about it, they said it is not a big deal. This while I was bleeding and feeling pain.very doctor that comes to check me, takes out blood from my system saying that they are going to run some tests. Now iam being told that I don't have enough blood on my body, and I need blood. I haven't had anything to eat in the last 18 hours because I was told that iam going to theater. Now the the same doctor who told me not to eat or drink, doesn't have the decency to come back and tell me if he is going to operate me or not. Kalafong hospitals service is very poor.

Despite the long wait, I was amazed at the level of service that I received from all the staff. I mean from the parking attendants to the Doctors. Everyone was so helpful and respectful. They treated me gently through each process and were very thorough. I couldn't be happier.

My five star rating is for the stellar service that I received from Lerato Masombuka of the Finance Department. I had phoned in to query the unfair payments that my daughter was being made to make for each of her consultations. My daughter had already been rudely told that it did not matter that she was a permanent resident because she was still a foreigner. I got the same response from two other people when I called in on the 16th February 2021 to query this and had also received some unfortunate responses. Fortunately, I was finally transferred to Lerato who was very professional in the way she handled both my call and my daughter when she later went in to see her. We lack a thousand tongues to express our gratitude. Keep up the professional work ethic, Ms Lerato Masombuka.
