Sadly for me, the receptionist was the least of my problems. I went to see the doctor because I had a few spots on my face. She prescribed some in-house bleaching cream with no label let alone a description of what she put in there( I think this might be a law violation of some sort). The first 2 days my skin reacted and started peeling. I had red patches everywhere which went on to form big visible spots. I stopped using the product but sadly, the spots stayed. So, usually one goes to see a doctor to get better but in my case, her product literally gave me skin problems. And that cream was expensive!!! Needless to say I’d never go back there!

Extremely rude receptionist and very bad admin. My appointments get rescheduled every single time at least twice. The doctor is amazing, but I won't go back there just because of the bad service and the way they handle the patients.

Worst experience ever. The receptionist wrote down an incorrect telephone number the day I made my appointment. On the day of the appointment I drove there just to be informed the doctor took the day off. When I made my appointment the receptionist failed to inform me that the consultation should be paid R870 in cash(they don’t accept cards). She also failed to disclose that an appointment consist of only 15min(R870) and Jonell Meyer will not remove anything on the first visit. If you need something removed you will have to book a follow up consultation. Basically you pay R870 for the first appointment to find out where the office is, fill out the forms and meet the doctor because I can't see how anything more than meeting the doctor can be done in 15minutes. This was the only available dermatologist that still had appointments for the 2018 year. All the other dermatologist's was fully booked until May 2019. After my experience I know why.

The Doctor is very good. An I have been nothing but satisfied with her. But dealing with her two receptionists is a nightmare. They are rude, unpleasant and have even “forgotten” to book my appointment forcing me to reschedule after pitching for the appointment i scheduled. They are the face of the practice and make coming here a punishment. The one receptionist flat out lied to me that their card payment system was dead as it could not be charged due to a power failure, in an attempt to get me to pay cash. When I refused and asked if I could pay via eft. She then said its fine i can pay with my card and the card machine was fully charged!! How is this acceptable???
