Since no one will respond to my email, I shall ask my question here. I would just like to know what constitutes “A” grade Saligna Decking? I am very unhappy with the quality of decking I have received from Northern Pole (I emailed attached pictures, unfortunately I cannot do so here). A lot of the boards are full of splinters, burn marks, cracks and are immensely warped. There is still a lot of preparation to be done before I can tint and protect the decking. I went to Tiger Timbers yesterday to look at their decking and their quality of decking truly seems to be “A” grade. Even though more expensive I would MUCH rather have used them. I do understand that wood is temperamental and does warp, but surely the warping can be somewhat helped with strapping or something. I am just writing this to see whether I got a bad batch or if this truly is your “A” grade decking so I know for the future.
