Although the project remained only on paper for almost one year, the solid foundations were being built. The organization was then acquired by a Portuguese company, ESPORTSM LDA. The organization is at the moment supporting four highly successful teams in Counter-Strike, Defense of the Ancients, QuakeLive and StarCraft II. With offices in Lisbon, Portugal and Cape Town, South Africa and a small professional and inventive employee structure, Online Kingdom is becoming a medium-sized business, including management of professional players, sales of hardware, organization of gaming events, and soon sales of fan merchandise. Online Kingdom was founded by António Noronha and Guilherme Fraga, with the help of Mário Santos, Alexandre Silva and Nuno Silva. Not only the founders, but everyone in our structure have one thing in common: the desire to make this brand become one of the biggest eSports organizations in the history.
