Lovely show by Willem Boshoff. The African Gold exhibition is also extremely cool. Half of the space was closed but it was still worth it. Love the parking garage graffiti. It was also empty so me and my friend were the only ones there, it was so cool to have a whole museum to ourselves.

The Javett Art Centre. First time I visit the place. This place has a million stories (various interpretations) in each art work, the place is really beautiful, free for students (with valid student cards) and R150 for non students(totally worth it though. The reception people and security staff are so friendly and helpful. They recommend a visit during public holidays when there are facilitators who help explaining the interpretation of art work from the artist's perspective. There is so much room to move around (convenient since its Covid times) and you are allowed to take pictures, provided you don't use your flash light or touch the work

A great art gallery to visit. Nice exhibition. Next exhibition will start from February. Not a great sign on the main road and following maps app u may get confused! Gallery has a few floors and many sections and one may get confused. But I am sure second visit will be much easier. Am not sure if it’s enough wheelchair friendly! And some of items don’t have a label of information! Schools get some art workshops in different halls of the gallery that is so encouraging for kids. So take your children and let them get inspired. Very friendly staff.

Excellent uncluttered open spaces on many levels that let the art completely come to its own: taking its own space and let you breathe each and every display. And the Gold room..wow. Overall, so many thought-provoking pieces that ended up stirring deep emotions. Well done. Worth a visit, you will go again. I can't wait.

An unexpected surprise - this gallery is of an international standard. Light, beautiful spacial design, great variety of art yet keeping to a coherent narrative. I loved it!
