The first time I worked with Ettienne and Westvaal and I am really impressed from a workshop (DASTEK) perspective. Ettienne really gave great service, sent parts immediately and I received parts which I was told will take 1 - 3 days, the same day. A big upgrade to the kind of service I am used to from previous Isuzu dealers.

Opel PART SALES guy is useless at customer care, I came to Opel cause a part on my car needed to be fixed/replaced. Part sales helped me and said the part will be ready In 3 working days so in a few days later i went and the guy at part sales says the engineer is unavailable he will call me tomorrow if I SHOULDN'T come in. I didn’t receive a call so I went the next day. Part sales says no he is busy. So technically I wasted my time. I go in the next day cause I didn’t get a call. SAME THING. so then I said to him clearly. Call me when I CAN come in next time. It’s been almost 3 weeks for a rubber part on my car. That’s BEEN there. Eventually he calls me a week later to come in after 4pm so I do. I wait for another 30/45 min. Why wouldn’t he just be READY for me when he knew I was coming. Honestly shocking service. BUT the engineer on the other hand was very friendly and helped a lot.

Take your car elsewhere for a service. You get screened by reception and can't speak to service consultant directly. you have to leave a message for them to phone you back - which they don't. Eventually tried the online service booking function on the website just to be phoned by a sales consultant that he received an enquiry to purchase a new car. Car was booked in for a service and at the end of the day they phone you with the quote amount. You ask to see the detailed quote you get it 11h00 the next day. you email them back instantly to continue with the service. Phone them at 12h00 to ask if they received the email confirmation but then you have to leave a message and no one phones you back. at the end of the the day they haven't started with your service as they are awaiting confirmation to continue with the service.
