Enjoyed a delicious high tea on the veranda in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The food not only looked incredible but tasted absolutely devine. The selection was well planned with something for every taste. Chef Kieren and his staff exceeded my expectations with their delicious food and wonderful attentive service. We can definitely recommend them with full confidence to everyone we know. High tea at this venue is something not to be missed.

Punchinello's Restaurant 1 Sentence description: Renaissance-themed hotel restaurant with a nice line in buffet breakfasts. What’s good here? I had the pleasure of a nice breakfast here whilst staying at the Southern Sun Montecasino, Fourways. The restaurant is laid out lovely in a ornate Renaissance style, with buffet stands for the various breakfast treats e.g. cereal, fruit, pastries, egg station and warm bacon, sausage, corn fritters, pancakes etc. Whilst it’s self-service the waiters are friendly and eager to help. Tell me more Despite there being oodles of dining options at Montecasino to suit every palate, I’d have no qualms returning here for dinner or otherwise as the food quality was very good. Anything to disclose? No - paying customer, anonymously visited. --- How I Rate: I normally rate 1-4, with 5 reserved for ’Exceptional’, i.e. “deviating from the norm” or “truly worthy of note”. * 4 stars very good * 3 stars good * 2 stars average or acceptable * 1 stars poor

I had an amazing experience here with friends for my 18th birthday! The food was amazing and worth every penny. The ambiance and the hotel is gorgeous, sophisticated and luxiourious. The staff are so well rounded and really ensure you are satisfied. I am definately returning soon, as this hotel has become a family favourite!

In hotel restaurant with upmarket feel, in and outside seating. Menu has exciting dishes, good choices as well as salad and cold meat buffet for the not so hungry. Service is good, open kitchen is the modern trend and adds character. Food quality is excellent and wine list starts at affordable, extending to ludicrous. Definitely give it a try if finer dinning is for you. Excellent Sunday lunch buffet @ R210 pp a great deal.

A business partner and I come here every week. Food is normally good and service great, but last weekend (3rd November 19) Ayanda at the desk displayed the most unbelievabe attitude towards us, she did not want to let us in (we normally get some resistance to the Sunday walk in and hence by agreement we come at 6.30 and leave by 7.30). She laughed at us, called my business partner "my darling" patronizingly, and refused to call her supervisor - saying "I'm not going to call him - you can call him". We did not feel that the manager felt with the situation appropriately and are likely not coming back.

A service was excellent but the food varied in quality. We shared a calamari starter which was very tasty. My wife's duck was succulent and delicious. My kingklip was disappointing- very dry and lacking in flavour, which they did offer to replace. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were given a surprise chocolate cake. A nice touch.

Thank you to all the management and staff at Punchinello restaurant. My husband's birthday was fantastic. The food was excellent and plentifull. The staff most accommodating and excellent service received. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone especially for a special occasion. Thank you all.
