We were so pleasantly surprised by this gem. It's by far the best vegan food we've had. It's tasty, beautifully presented and portions are super generous. The prices are extremely reasonable. Much lower than what you'd pay in Cape Town. Best of all, eating there means you're helping to support the Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary. What's not to love about that? We had the chickpea omelette, scrambled tofu breakfast, apple pie and fruit salad, yoghurt and muesli (not all on the same day, ha ha). All of them were amazing. The coffee was also superb and they don't charge a surcharge for vegan milk like most places do. Wow!

We were looking so much forward to eating and shopping at Pure Café after speaking telephonically to, who we believe was the owner, (a very vibrant and friendly lady) to confirm that they are still operating during COVID and open during the week. We arrived in the rain and upon entering we were totally ignored by the personnel and when we asked about lunch and the menu we were pointed to the black board outside that was standing in the rain. A 2nd lady appeared from the kitchen area and at least realized that we were slightly perturbed and said that we could go to Via's. We felt that they were not motivated to serve us so we left for Via's and what a change of energy. At Via's were welcomed and served with a smile.
