This place is amazing. The prices are cheaper than most places. The produce is very fresh, and there is always a variety of fruits and vegetables to choose from. The till lines move very quickly, even when they are very busy, which is mostly over weekends.

The Fresh fruit & veggie store that brings you that nostalgic local corner shop feeling with goods at competitively low prices and a variety of products in stock, without the overwhelming, anxiety inducing chain store/franchise demeanor. Friendly & helpful staff. The centre sometimes gets packed with some traffic jams but extra parking is available at the second entrance.

Very large and popular fruit and vegetable market with about a dozen checkout desks. All produce in cardboard boxes appears to be delivered fresh straight from the farms and stacked conveniently in rows. The produce does not stay long before being purchased by customers. Every type of fruit and vegetable as well as herbs is available. Prepared produce cut up or packed in small containers is displayed in a long row of refrigerated cabinets on one side of the hall. Prices are very reasonable which together with its freshness accounts for the popularity of this shop. There is a large boomed parking area that is safe, but has no pesky begging car guards. There are many other shops such as a meat market, coffee shop a dairy shop, a nut and flower shop, a ice cream shop nearby in the same complex. The best fruit and veg market in Joburg.
