We contacted the buyers' department at Northgate Cash Converters, telling them we have some furniture to sell. A bed, two bookshelves, a desk and a tv unit. GEORGE told us a mobile unit will come out to us. So we cancel the bakkie we hired for purpose. No one pitched or contacted us again. Next day WE phone THEM to find out what is happening. They promise they will definitely come out this time. No one pitches. We phone them again, this time speaking to CHRIS who tells us to rather come in with our furniture, after my husband told him what we have to sell. By the time we have a bakkie borrowed and the things loaded Chris has left for the day. The manager on duty informs us that they no longer buy furniture but they will give us R500 for our brand newpetrol lawnmower we wanted to sell.
