Looks like Repairers are not releasing any vehicles from Saxum Or Anderson Insurance. My vehicle has been in the panel shop since June, it's now done but they will not release it. Can we arrange a date to all meet at the Anderson Offices to demand answers on outstanding matters? Staff are evasive and either drop calls or just continue transferring your call until you hang up. They clearly are not giving any answers to anyone.

This is one of the most disappointing car insurance company in South Africa. Having read most of the reviews of the people insured with them, and as one of them, I feel pity for US since this company has filled for a voluntary liquidation. That means most of us who have been waiting for our claims to be paid off for more than 6 months, we will be stranded forever. Worse part they took the car from the mechanic creating hope that they will pay it off but NOTHING HAPPENED. WE NEED TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST THESE PEOPLE....
February 2017 - Anderson Quoting System has been down since November. In November I was told Jan, in Jan I was told Feb now I have been told they don't know. I have been married and my car value has greatly decresed since the last premium adjustment and Anderson tell me they can't do anything (indefinitely) until the quoting system is up. They also informed me that actually my premium will stay the same or increase. This is after basically stealing money from me each month at an over inflated premium rate. This whole problems seem to be intentionally not resolved so they can keep overcharging their customers. Never, ever, EVER consider using Anderson for insurance as they are basically thieves and liars and I will be cancelling my policy at my earliest convenience.
Poor VERY POOR!! been on hold for a half a day and going through hoops and holding the line just to hold again for the right department. THIS insurance should be shut down and not rear its ugly head again.
I have claimed after having an accident in April and now it is September and no payment has been received by the bank. It has been 5months!!!! I have tried calling to follow up and the call gets cut off after waiting for more than 15minutes. Also, I am told that only one person (Loe-Ann) can assist with the payment but 90% of the time they are not available :-( This insurer does not care about their customers at all!!!!!!!!
I've never known such terrible service..! From just calling their claims department, I wait a minimum of 15mins before I can speak to them. Then to get transferred to a department that can help me, it takes another 15-odd minute time frame and more. I've sent emails regarding a claim and advice on what needs to happen with a claim, but I get a response about 3 days later if not 2 days. On another note, it took 13 days for someone to get hold of me... I've left these guys purely on service. Great premiums, but you can see why you're paying such a low amount.... it matches their service delivery.
Worst service ever!!! Ive been a loyal client for over 3 years and paying my premiums every month. This is my first time to launch a claim. Its almost 3 months and im still waiting. My claim was processed and approved. i was told it would take 15 to 21 working days for payment to be processed. it has been well passed this time and nothing has been done. Looking at HelloPeter, im not the only one, there is over 300 new complaints! You suck big time really!
I have never in my life experience this kind of arogants. You can phone in and cancel your policy due to the fact that you no longer own the vehicle which was insured by Anderson and they keep on deducting the premuim.After few e-mails no correspondence from Anderson suddenly they are willing to refund you but only if you send your bank statement s and a letter from the new owner of that vechile.How does this work?Selling your own vehicle fully paid of at the finance instance to a private person and your insurance for the last five years want a letter from the new owner and your bank statements? ?Phafetic stay away!!!
