Come here just for the dim sum if you have to! I haven't found anything better in Jhb yet. I think it's partially the dipping sauce. 3x3 could be a (light) meal, or for sharing.

This place has a wide variety of good sushi. It's also got a great half price special on Mondays. But the service could improve a great deal. Wait half an hour to get any waiter's attention. Another waiter was very confused when we asked for service. Would give a 5 star if they step up their game.
The restaurant is set on a corner in a very trendy neighbourhood of Johannesburg with plenty of bars and restaurants around. Monday nights they have a good deal on selected sushi plates. The food was very good and the service was as well. They have a very large menu of different sushi selections and the sushi bar / conveyor belt make it feel like an authentic fast food sushi emporium. I would go back again for sure....
The service was pretty good. And the place seemed pretty nice to have a bite. However, for the price of the sushi... you'd expect better quality. The wasabi was watery and the rice tasted stale.
This is a great place if you're only looking for a decent sushi bar. However compared to the rest of 4th avenue it's severely lacking in atmosphere. Not recommended for a fun night out, more for chilled dining. Food and service are both good.
Well..... Letting us know you are closed on the night of a cold front would have been extremely helpful...... Found closed and not notice or alert...... Extremely disappointing
I can’t fathom how this place gets such a high rating. It’s in a great neighborhood, surrounded by star restaurants but it certainly isn’t one of them. This here is the pariah of 4th Avenue. The sushi is trash. I went on half-price Monday and can only imagine how sad I’d be if I’d paid full price. I actually feel sorry for those with palates that rated this place as 3 ️ and up. I wail for them
Fantastic sushi choice in Parkhurst. Food was excellent! Great wine selection, too. Will definitely going back soonest.
