RMI western Cape representative - biased representative especially in cases against a particular dealership in lower Brackenfell. One gets the idea that this representative and owner of this dealership may have been friends. Also, the head over RMI coastal including Western Cape region has not really reacted to my pleas of possible biasedness. This suspicion has also been raised by a few other dealerships and clients in the region. In my experience the biased actions were fueled by various actions, ie RMI requesting that no recording of the mediation session were made, the boardroom filled from the opposite side of the table including RMI rep (-7 one side of the table against 1), the client or claimant to prove the dealerships default (in contradiction to Consumer act) and the general body language and tone from the RMI rep towards the claimant and dealership.

Unfortunately they only deal with car dealerships who are members of the RMI... It's pointless if a complaint is against a dealership that does not belong to the organization...
