Best service ever and always friendly
I'm extremely disappointed in the service and quality of product from this optometrist. I will never go back and would not recommend him. The cash paid for the specs was an absolute waste. I see better with a pair of specs that my father has no use for. Sadly , his reluctance and subsequent failure to correct the 2 issues I appoached him about, were both not handled in a fashion expected from such a professional. And I am 55 years old. I don't have time to get messed around on this level. What I got from this scenario is anything but outstanding. We were under lockdown, and you told me what tier option based on the R2100 that you were paid. Your words were that the manufacturer would produce a quality that would allow for decent vision, not what I was subjected to. Not to mention the R1950 suggested I would need for the tinting, expected on delivery of the specs initially. Shortly after coming in to query why the tinting option which you advocated was not done. You very dismissively told me that you couldn't recall the detail of the discussion, but you quite seriously accomodated me at the second time I stopped in. Thing is, at that point you were paid in full, so you couldn't have cared less. As far as I'm concerned. In all probability, you never even sent the specs off to be checked. And if there was nothing wrong, why was that an option put forward during the last visit to your practice? You have not heard the end of this, Paul. I don't know what level tier you had them manufactured at, nor the quality of manufacture, since you did say there are options. Those factors are only privy to your knowledge and integrity. And that is something you couldn't tell me enough about, I suppose all in your defence. Sadly, being a victim, always leaves one with a bitter taste in the mouth, especially with issues of this nature.
